Use of the SBI YONO App
YONO app provides all the traditional as well as modern financial assistance, whether its an opening a bank account or doing online shopping everything can be done just with a touch and that too from just one app.
It gives you your expense report monthly, helps you save and can get you a pre-approved loan of 5 lakh rupees without any paperwork.
All of your State Bank bodies like the cheque book, ATM card, Insurance, Mutual Funds and investments can be managed by this one single app and you can also sit at home and place a request for a chequebook or an ATM card for your account number through this application. How to Open your Account in SBI YONO app
To open your account in YONO, all you need is your Adhaar card and then you can peacefully without any single doubt delete all the other payment or banking applications from your phone and just download this one app.
To install the application you just have to follow the following steps:
Step 1: Install the application first on your device, to do so you have to visit the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sbi.lotusintouch&hl=en_IN from your android phone and the link https://itunes.apple.com/in/app/yono-by-sbi/id1231393474?mt=8 from your iOS phone.
Step 2: After installing the application, you will see two options on your screen, ‘New digital account’ or ‘Insta saving account’ click on the type of account you want.
Step 3: Now you will see a new page open in front of you, where you will see the option of apply now, click that and then read the features and agree with the terms and conditions, after which click on the button reading ‘Next’
Step 4: After that, you will have to enter all of your Adhaar card details as required and then an OTP will be sent to you to verify your details.
Step 5: After entering the OTP, click on the submit button and all of your account details will come up on your screen.
Once you have followed through all these steps, your account in the YONO app will be created, if you have created a new digital account then you may have to visit your SBI bank branch once but if you have made an Insta savings account then there is no need to visit your bank branch.
How to Login to your SBI YONO app
If you already have an existing account in the SBI YONO app and you need to login to the respective account, then you need to follow the
following steps:
Step 1: Once you have installed the application from the above-given links. You will see two options, registered via account number and registered via internet banking, once you open the application. Select the suitable option.
Step 2: If you have registered via account number then enter your ATM account number and the pin but if you have registered via Internet Banking then enter your username and password.
Step3: After accepting the terms and conditions, you will have to set up an MPIN for logging into the app which will then be verified by sending an OTP to the registered number.
Step4: Once you have entered the OTP number, you are all logged in and in future when you will have to login again you will only need the MPIN number.
